We will certainly try. Please send as much information as you can including photos of the windows and doors in question, and we will do whatever we can do to be as accurate as possible.
One of our sales team will be delighted to visit you to take a close look at your project and to discuss your requirements in detail. After that initial consultation (which typically takes around 20-40 minutes) we will prepare a comprehensive proposal typically within 48 hours. This can be followed up with further meetings either at your home or in our showroom to discuss further.
This can vary depending on your project requirements and location, and of course how busy we are, but typically within 2-3 days of your enquiry.
This can vary depending on the product being used and the size of the project. It can be as quick as 3-4 weeks or longer, up to around 12-14 weeks. We will always do what we can to fit in with your requirements, but our products are bespoke and made to order.
We will look to fit in with you to arrange a day(s) that suit your requirements. We would never confirm an installation date without your agreement.
Installations can vary from just a few hours to a week or two for much larger projects. Our expert advisor will be able to answer this during your initial consultation.
Yes, we will. These will be disposed of or recycled depending on the material concerned.
Yes, we do, inside and out. Please note that we don’t carry out any decoration.
Possibly. It’s obviously very important we ensure that our staff are safe and that your project is carried out properly. Our expert advisor will be able to answer this during your initial consultation.
Our professional and highly skilled teams have years of experience so that we can ensure your installation is carried out to the very highest standards.
We certainly can! Our expert advisors will be able to advise you on what your obligations are based on your location, the type of property you live in, and the requirements of your conservation area. Many of our traditional timber alternative range products are suitable to use in conservation areas.
Probably not, but maybe. Most properties do not require planning permission to replace windows and doors. However, the following situations may require you to apply for planning:-
Almost certainly not, unless you’re looking for secondary glazing, which can often be a simple and effective solution in Listed Buildings.
Strictly speaking flats do not have permitted development rights, so planning permission should be required to replace windows. Often local authorities will not explicitly require this if you are replacing on a like-for-like basis, but we would always recommend speaking to your local authority to clarify what their requirements are. If your flat is in a Listed Building or an Article 4 conservation area you will definitely need planning permission to replace them.
Also note that for most leasehold flats you should check the details of your lease to see if there are any covenants specific to replacement windows and getting in touch with your management company and/or freeholder is also advisable.
We don’t offer a repair or glazing service, but can highly recommend Enfield Window Repair.
Due to the bespoke and specialist nature of many of our products these can attract longer wait times for manufacture than more standardised products. We will also only use top quality, experienced installers for our installations, never casual or under skilled labour, meaning that during busy times our installation turnaround times may extend beyond that of companies who will happily do so.
If time is an important part of your project please do speak to us about it, we’ll always do what we can to help fit in with your plans.
