How Which endorsement proved vital in solving this customer’s draughty front door problems
Samit & Pavarti live in a 1930’s semi in Mill Hill. All their windows had been replaced by a previous owner, but the front door and surrounding windows were still original. They were loathe to lose this period feature, but admitted it was draughty and often difficult to use during very hot or wet conditions.
“The leaded windows were cracked and the door needed a lot of maintenance” said Samit.

“Whenever we have work done in the house our first port of call is always the Which website. It’s such a well-established trustworthy brand and I know that all their online reviews are checked to ensure they are genuine. There are so many review websites out there, but I don’t have faith in others nearly as much as I do Which.”
From finding Barnet Window Company the process was very smooth.
“I got a quote from Hugo within a couple of hours of designing my door on the website (using the Solidor design software). He then kindly organised a visit for us to see the range at the showroom where his colleague Tommy showed us a near replica of the door we designed. Seeing the door in person was useful in helping us finalise our design.”
8 weeks after placing an order the new door and surrounding windows were installed. Pavarti was over the moon about the completed installation and had some kind words to share about Sam, the installer. – “Sam was polite, on time, and took great care in making sure our hallway floor was protected during the work. He swept and hoovered up after, and his attention to detail during the fitting was great to see – thanks Sam!”
